By fixing the part that normally attaches to the window frame to the
kitchen unit and the other part to the screen, it=92ll give a nice
motion
where it moves forward as you pull it down. Once it reaches the
vertical, it should be quite secure when pressing on the screen.
With a bit of ingenuity, you may even be able to attack a motor and
lead
screw to automate it.
Cheers,
Steve

Subject: [ukha_d] Hinges
Hi All,
=A0
SWMBO has given me the go ahead to fit my MP3 player into the kitchen
below the units but wants a screen that can be hinged up out of the
way.
=A0
Ideally I would go for a motorised system like they have on the
A320/319
Airbus that BA operates but I think they would be expensive (unless you
know otherwise)
=A0
Does anyone know of a suitable hinge that is both easy to use but
strong
as I have a touch screen on this display and need the unit to kind of
lock into position for when using the screen.
=A0
Thanks
Dave...
