NO - you should definitely not do this - what you can do is split any connected equipment between the two power units egg monitor/printer to one unit and CPU on another. In terms of best outage time you should put the CPU (only) on the highest rated unit.

Just 'acquired' another UPS on ebay and was wondering if it's possible/safe to connect the outputs of two similar rated units to provide a longer running time, assuming total load is not more than the max for either ?
