Yahoo Groups Unsubscribe Procedures

Are you one of those who send any variant of the below messages to
various
Yahoo Groups which you didn't subscribe to?

Unsubscribe
Unsubscribe me
Delete me from this group
I didn't sign up for this group
Remove me from this list
Stop sending me mail
Moderator - remove me please
Stop sending me this shit
Stop sending me this fucking shit

If you can answer "YES" to any of those statements then this
email is for
you!

First, you DID subscribe to the group in question. There is no possible
way
you can receive these messages if you didn't do one of the following:

1. Went to www.yahoogroups.com and signed up for the group. This
requires
that you entered a password and VERIFIED your email address.

2. Sent an email to the group in question requesting to be subscribed.

3. You are an AOL user. (Sorry, couldn't help saying that)

Now, let's assume you subscribed to and are receiving messages from
mycockgetshardthinkingofeatingshit@yahoogroups. At the time it seemed to
be
an exciting kink to fantasize about, eating big old logs of shit, but
now
you have come to your senses and realized that it is a fetish shared by
probably only 0.00000000001% of the population of the entire world.
More
importantly you want to be damn sure the wife doesn't catch wind (pardon
the
pun) of this kink of yours. You need to get unsubscribed and you need
to
unsubscribe NOW!

Here's what you do:

1. Go to www.yahoogroups.com and unsubscribe from the group. You're
probably
a new Internet user so you most likely forgot the password you
originally
entered while in your haste to get messages from
mycockgetshardthinkingofeatingshit. Due to your own frustration of
forgetting the password, you are probably the one that reverted to
profanities and wrote "Stop sending me this fucking shit." If
that's the
case, then you need to:

2. Unsubscribe using the message you received. Take a look at the
subject
line of the message. You will see the name of the group you are
subscribed
to and the topic the particular writer used when sending the message. If
you
use Outlook Express you may see something similar to this:

>From Subject

shiteater@xxxxxxx [mycockgetshardthinkingofeatingshit] My First Tasty
Log


Using the information available to you above, take the text in the
brackets
of the subject line and fashion a new email with the "To:" line
reflecting
this:

mycockgetshardthinkingofeatingshit-unsubscribe@xxxxxxx
Press the send button. No need for a subject or any text in the body of
the
message.

You will then receive a message from your shit eating group asking you
to
verify that you really want to unsubscribe. Simply press reply and then
send. You will then receive a message advising you that you have been
deleted.

Guess what? You are now unsubscribed and not only that, you have done
something that 9 out of 10 AOL users are incapable of - It's so easy!
Perhaps more importantly, your wife will never know about your little
kink
and you can start spending your time more wisely searching public
bathrooms
for unflushed bowls of shit as opposed to sending emails to the group
requesting to be unsubscribed.

Oh yeah, there is also an email link at the bottom of most groups which
you
can use to unsubscribe as well. It works for most groups I've seen with
the
exception of the Natasha group where the link is incorrect. If you use
the
above procedure, you will be guaranteed removal from the list.
