Just thought some of you (well the Windows users) might be interested
in Object Desktop ( http://www.stardock.com ) which effectively
allows you to build your own fron tend to windows.
One added advantage is that the desktop (DesktopX) is scriptable in
jscript/vbscript/activeperl which means that I have buttons on my
desktop that control my DDAR, can turn lights on/off etc ... what it
needs is for someone with the inclination (sp) and probably with a
Fuji to produce a good 800x600 256 colour HA interface using this...
any takers? I would but can't draw to save my life...
