I'm the same - no marketing preferences.  From what I've read on a
couple of other groups, it might depend on whether you access Yahoo mail
via POP3 or just use the web mail, or possibly if you had to get a new
account when they took over egroups.

Anyway, some people don't seem to have this option (thankfully :-)
