Re: composite video



I have done this to a bt848 capture card so I could put it in between a
camera switcher and a long way-away VCR, the picture was a bit brighter,
I assume because the cable losses made the resistance at the other end
appear a bit higher, but it worked fine. Without removing it, the picon
both the card and the vcr were dark, and smeering sideways. Total
distance was switcher to PC about 5m, PC to VCR, about 60m - I used a
BNC T connector, and then a BNC to RCA plug. It looks like some crappy
old BNC network cabling.. heheh..

Resistor is between signal and ground, you can then run a long way to
the second
device so long as the total length is no more than about 300 mtrs.

Am i looking for a resistor between signal & gnd ?

Then do the 2 device have to be close ?
