I'm still on my second set since I bought the 309 diesel just over 3 years ago.
 
I have done 87,000 since I got it and it is now on 212,000 miles !!!!
 
I get an almost constant 54 mpg ...... just worked out that at current fuel prices it has consumed £13,171 worth of diesel... worse still.... I've paid £6K of that :-(
 
Just think how many Tivo's, DDAR's, Fuji's, Epod's, iPaq's that would have bought. Come to think of it... for that I could have Crestron or a Lutron lighting system.
