Im presuming here - but as it's Windows, you can change the
"shell".

When it's loaded, do control-alt-delete, and see what tasks are running -
then look for that EXE in the registry

(sorry if this message appears twice...not sure my original post
worked)

I couldn't wait for the bulk buy either :)
spent all weeekend playing with this excellent toy....money well
spent!
Achievemnts so far:

networked the MT to my main PC upstairs.

Hacked the DVD player. Two applications achieve this:

http://www.gameland.gr/progs/hitachihack2.4.zip
http://www.kki.net.pl/decay/downloads/files/msm30.exe
(aspi drivers also required)

one to change the region on the mpact chipset and the other to change
the region on the dvd player. It appears to work fine with the MT DVD
software (smov.exe)

also managed to get the LCD to display winamp song info..

oh....and got the pronto controlling all dvd functions now too :)

questions: how do you prevent the MT booting automatically into
the 'main menu thingie' (although obviously it is not difficult to
get out of)

anyway, i'll leave it there for now....further details on request!
