Simon,

WM Encoder will do a good job of streaming (still the best encoder
compared to Real Media) but is designed for streaming direct from
your computer (i.e. need a permanent connection to the Internet). I
run a new media division in a large computer company and use this as
the output from my studio, streaming to large numbers of users via a
number of routes including the Akamai network.

For a simpler streaming option try iVista Pro or Webcam32 at the
following URL's:

www.inetcam.com
www.webcam32.com

There are other products available but these are fairly popular.
