And of course if you buy a man's car rather than the Japanese
hairdresser's equivalent, it actually needs a proper service after 1,200
miles ;)

Nah, only the UK Importer recommend the running in for 1000 miles, the
manufacturer and all other countries don't. There is a fluids change at
1000
though.
I am only on my second tank, so havn't looked at the fuel consumption,
but
we had a '97 and '00 one before so know what to expect ;) Did I mention
that
super unleaded is about 40p/litre over here :))
