Dan,
I have Xantech stuff over cat5 no problem. I just chopped the 3.5mm plug of
the table top receiver and fitted a RJ45 plug so I could run it through a
patch panel. The micro link receiver is bare wire anyway.

The (not Xantech) connecting block I am using was about £15 from
Letsautomeate but they don't seem to be on the site any more.

Just get a block with screw down terminals for receivers and connect them
all back to that.

If you are talking about emitters over cat5 then I'm not sure. Haven't
tried
it, but AFAIK all blocks will have 3.5mm jacks for emitters.

Justin.

Thanks Kenneth,

I thought the xanatech stuff was min-jack plugs. Anyone got any links
to any Cat5 xantech stuff?

Can any of the xantech blocks on letsautomate be used with cat5?

Cheers,
-Dan

Dan,

The Xantech stuff is very good, but has the downside of being pretty
pricey depending on how much you want to do.
