You didn't miss much Stuart,

I got there early as I didn't have a ticket... only queued for about
twenty minutes... you didn't really miss much.. it was OK, but not as
good as some others that I have been to... I wasn't very impressed by
the sheer lack of the "big people" Berghaus had a small stand...
but no
Karrimor, no Vango, no Khyam, no North Face, no Lowe Alpine (LowePro was
there though)

Still I got my show guide autographed by Ray Mears... fascinating guy to
listen to...

When we left the queues were immense (this was about 13:00)

Paul

Hi All,

With yahoo down over the weekend, I decided to pay visit to the
"Outdoors
Show" at the NEC, well with queues of 3 hours just to get in the door,
and
a moaning swmbo, I spotted that there was the "self build and
renovation"
show on.
After 3 hours of walking round collecting leaflets swmbo anounces that
she
might actually consider doing this for our next house, so I've scored a
bit of a home goal.

Basically anyone with any useful pointers on info for self build can you

e-mail me off list.

Cheers

Stuart
