Just found this yamaha cd changer exhibited at cebit 2002
 
Its a little ways down the page..
 
 
Looks interesting, but no mention of price... have an email into yahama for further info.

Have a look at the new Kenwood J6050. 400 disks plus 3 rental slots. CDDB track lookup and similar for DVD titles/tracks. + some sort of PC interface. Now all I need is 600 spare smackers!

The 850 was a 200 disc model, the 860 was a 300 disc model.
 
Unfortunately neither are on Sony's products roster anymore...

I have Sony CX-850 I think is the model. 200DVD changer.
There are people in the group who has it as well.

Hi all,
 
Anyone here have any experience with cd/dvd changers?
 
I seem to remember talk of a sony unit.
 
What I am after is building a pc based one for feeding the dvd drive with disks and storing them again.
 
Does anyone on the list have experience of robotics?
 
I'm not sure where to start!
