Hi All

further to my other posting about the Elektor Interfacing special I have
downloaded the Assembler code for the Multi-Standard Infrared Receiver as I
am interested in adapting the code for the PIC micro.

I have two slight problems

1. (Minor) Dont know Assembly language for the 8051 family but could soon
work that out.

2. (MAJOR) Dont know German . (didnt have the option at school and I was
bad
enough at English ! )

Many of the Label Names in the code are in German as are most of the
comments.

Label names are in the extreme Left Hand column and are followed by a colon
eg

START:

A global search and replace would find references to them in the code and
update all in one hit.

"Repeatcode nur akzeptieren, wenn vorher NEC bereits decodiert worden
ist"
which I can make out to be something about Repeat, Decoding and NEC but
thats it.

Bitzähler für 32 Bits Something for 32 bits ?
MOV	R5,#0 ;Alle Einlesebytes löschen ??????????

Druckzaehler ???????

By knowing the English word for the label names and the translation of the
comments I would be in a much better position to understand the code.

If anyone believes they could help then email me and I will send you the
file. Only about 40K so not massive.

Thanks

Keith
