Re: Fuji point 510 Experiences

Browser I patched to ie5 sp2 I believe.

Had that running on the cf-01 and it just makes life a little easier.

Its not too slow, perfectly OK for web browsing.. Even runs MSN bejewelled at a playable rate, thou not smoothly.

OS is still 95 as I'm waiting on memory before upgrading to 98, maybe.

Generally I'm happy with it... Oh, and I had a problem with dlink wireless card which got returned. It didn't officially support 95 so I think you can put that down to me, thou the SMC does and works fine.

Winamp is OK, but I have to turn quality way down, but that may be helped with memory.

Email is fine. Web is fine.

For the money its a steal.

If however your one of the rich guys on the list, I would wait for a MS MIRA based device at the end of the year, they seem to have possibilites.

This is very interesting, thanks for the feedback Jason

What browser / OS are you running on it?

I would be interested in your overall feeling of the Fuji, for general web browsing (I take it from your email that you have broadband connection!?) and other simple tasks, email using outlook for example.

Daniel
