I see my maths has confused you!
Translation:
Sod's Law dicates that the time you _would_ want the DIP switch changed is
_precisely_ the time when the SWMBO macro is running the 'watch crap soaps'
routine, so DIP switch remains unchanged & you get a 'Request timed
out'
error :-)
