Stuart,

Any chance of details/links?

I'm perfectly competent to put together a PC, a Celeron 900 would be
more than adequate for my needs.

To put this in perspective, my current PC currently runs:

- MySql (for HV logging)
- Apache (for the Intranet site)
- The DDAR/Rio server software supporting 5 Rios
- The UD cancer-investigation agent

And is my main web-surfing/games playing machine...

It's spec:

- PII-300
- 196Mb RAM
- 3 harddisks!
- one for system and swap (10Gb)
- one for applications (10Gb)
- one for data (46Gb)
- A 4Mb graphic card

You will detect from this that I don't run graphic-intensive games ;-)

However, I'm keen to get Black and White working, and a =A3300 PC feels a
lot more acceptable than a =A3900 one ;-)

Paul,

Something to consider, I have recently built for =A3300 PC's with a 900MHz

Celeron and 256MB of ram in from NEW components, in a book PC case.

Whilst no rackmountable, it will sit on a shelf in a rack cabinet.

I'll get some more details together tommorrow about this.

Regards

Stuart
