Swmbo took the delivery of Tivo real well. Scarily so. In fact she was
out when they tried to deliver it, and phoned up the carriers for me,
without prompting, to arrange redelivery. This was a good sign.*

When I got home from work yesterday she mentioned that after I had left for
work she was trying to watch something and tivo kept on trying to change
the channel. We have an infrared link from the bedroom to the sky/tivo
boxes and a sky zappa up and down stairs. Only one Tivo zappa though. So
she had to run around looking for the tivo zappa and finally convinced it
to not to record what it wanted to.
She calmed down and got ready to watch her programme, when the HA system
turned the tv off. "The house is taking over!"
(I programmed an event to turn the bedroom tv off as I am forever getting
home in the evening finding it on to no - one.)

However I now feel that I have a 'home' with a bit of a will of its own.
Great.

I'm getting there.

Anyone found a place to buy spare tivo remotes?

Matthew

*she knows about the fujitsu - but the wifi stuff will have to be smuggled
in.
