As Far as the TV is concerned it will just slot in between the Sky and
Scart
Count yourself lucky you have RGB on Scart 2 most TV's limit to RGB on
Scart
1 only !!!

OK I have not reached the time when I have got more sources than scart
inputs on the TV and I hope I will not.

Most AV amps cannot switch RGB so you are going to have to have some
sources than are going to go straight to the amp and in my opinion that
situation is even more confusing.

I suppose that at the momnent I am lucky in that I have enough SCARTS on
the TV to cope

DVD (RGB) SCART 3
SKY DIGITAL (RGB) SCART 2
Video (Composite) SCART 1

All in to a Loewe Ergo TV and the pronto keeps all in sync!

But if I were to get a Tivo I think I would get into problems!!!!!

Not necessarily ... Most AV amps have single destination switching built
in and hence by default this facility becomes available but multi-room
AV distribution usually requires additional specialized hardware. (Hence
the reason why we're waiting for Keiths switcher...)

OK ... So how are you doing your switching of video sources? If you're
routing through your TVs SCARTs then what happens when you have more
sources than SCARTs? In my living room I have a VCR, a TiVo, a Laserdisk
player, two DVD players (an autochanger for the DVD "library" and
a
single disk player for when I borrow DVDs) an On Digital box, a
PlayStation 2 - that's seven sources. There are three SCARTs on the back
of the TV.

The amp handles *ALL* the AV switching perfectly and also allows me to
distribute the switched video to my CRT projector and to a KAT5 feeding
the main bedroom - all without any double termination of video feeds.
