I used to have a synchronising Sony alarm clock. Bought it when living in
Holland and there it was fine... Moved to England, and then discovered
there
was no way of changing the GMT-offset on it... Would always be 1 hour in
front of UK time.

Used it for 2 years here and then (thank god) it got foobarred ;-)

I have a Sony bediside clock radio that does this. There is one problem
however - the time is consitently wrong. Maybe the signal is not strong
enough to reach Belfast or they changed something as I seem to remember
that it did work at one time .
