That is exactly the case. It is only the arming event that it doesn't apply
to - although they don't seem to have documented this fact !!!

The other thing that wasn't completely obvious to me at first was that for
each device number you can set many events for example A1 could be
triggered
by the AUX button or activating zone 1 or zone 4 or by arming

That is exactly the case. It is only the arming event that it doesn't apply
to - although they don't seem to have documented this fact !!!

Taking the home/away mode a step further.. when the house goes into home
mode, and after a short delay, I will have HomeSeer announce something like
"Good morning/afternoon/evening. You have x new voicemail messages. To
hear
your messages now, press aux on your keyfob." Then maybe HS can fire
up the
kettle, turn on the TV and If it's a bit nippy, put the heating on!

This stuff is cool, just wish I had more time to play!
