supplies the viom which is rs232 based NOT parallel but does what you want and a lot more
 
 
provide exactly what you want and it is parallel but that is pretty much all it does
 
They are both UK based or you could get a weeder device from the US which are Serial based....
 
 
if I recall the postage on these was horrendous for a one off purchase

Can anyone recommend a cheap/reliable PC parallel type input/output board?

I'd want to switch 12v with maybe eight relays and have 8 isolated inputs
if poss. UK based would be good but no essential.

Any recommendations gratefully excepted.
