(OT) BT adsl

<rant mode>

OK, heres the deal.

we all know that we can get cheaper self install adsl now.

BT openworld is my ISP, so I decide to continue with them.

I go to register on the website, but it doesn't answer all my questions
(does signing up automatically cancel my Anytime subscription? - don't want
to end up paying twice now do I?)

so decide to call BT's openworld number to register, so they can answer my questions
at the same time, and/or I can cancel my Aytime subscription.

On hold for 15 minutes last night before I gave up.

Today I get this message:

"We cannot answer your call, please call back later or use our website"

typical - totally unhelpful.
