That's a tricky one.

Firstly make sure when you are learning you are nowhere near the TV or
any PWM dimmed lights or fluorescent tubes.

Secondly, when learning hold down the button on the original remote
until the Pronto beeps - this is particularly important with repeating
buttons like the volume buttons you mentioned.

Try re-learning, and if it still doesn't work, try again.

Subject: [ukha_d] Pronto command help

I have programed a lot on my Pronto but am having difficulty with one
on/off command for the VCR - it's a Fergason FV37H - quite an old model
but
it just doesn't want to give up!

I can program the on/off command but it only works from the Pronto say 1
in 10 times.
I can make it work better (1 in 5) by pressing some other command first,
but obviously
something is not right. What could it be? all the other learned
commands for
this VCR work perfectly.

Another problem I have is the volume control for the TV, the TV does not

respond to multiple commands when I keep my finger on the button, it
gets
the first command and ignores all others. Does this need a delay or
something?

Cheers

Keith
