Paul, I'm a software bod and came up with a couple of techie wet dream type
ideas for it... Rabbit connected bar code scanner device anyone? Broadcasts
"I scanned a barcode" event across the network for whatever
device is
interested to hear. So your SQL Server upstairs adds the CD to the music
collection automatically, and the kitchen stock control database is
automatically updated when you scan something in the kitchen.

Well it got me excited :-P

Guys,

What are you planning to do with these, It's just that they seem
to have rs232 ports and therefore will require software to understand
incoming data.

Regards,

Paul

To the 3 people that have expressed an interest in a group purchase of
barcode scanners thanks.

To anyone else interested please let me know, as it's only worth doing
once the numbers get above 10, even better value if we can get above
100.

Pricing as follows

Number 1 10+ 100+
Cost £ 20 12.45 6.10

Prices exclude VAT + SHIPPING

Cheers

Stuart
