Hmm..... I'd be a bit careful of that... It appears to be a DABS auction it= em, not a direct sale, and the vendor's being a bit cute on two points:

1: He lists the retail price as =A3400.... if you can find any retailer sel= ling at that, let me know :-)

2: He doesn't mention that a subscription is required. He just talks about = the benefits of TiVo being "for a freephone number".

I'm left wondering what else is dodgy....

Personally, I'd wait until the next _real_ sale on them ;-)
