RE: SBS Roaming Profile

Brian,

Yes - it got through...

Can you not check on Yahoo! whether your messages have arrived?

To post _2_ consecutive messages saying that "no-one's answered, so I guess that my mail can't have got through to the group" is a bit... well... a bit :-)

Can someone just say yes this did reach the group?

I have a feeling I am talking to myself again. I would like to know if
this is getting through to the group?

I can only assume 2 things here,

1) my mail did not get through
or
2) nobody is able to point me in the right direction?

I really am stumped on this one, I can ping the server and I can access
my email from the Exchange Server part of SBS but can not access the web
or browse the network.

The workstation says unable to find the roaming profile as it can not
find a logon server.

I have removed the w/s from the domain, uninstalled the network card and
re installed and joined the domain and can logon to my domain but still
can not browse the network....

Also as an aside the mouse has stopped working twice on the server since
the "upgrade".......

I am sure this is something to do with security on the server but I have
looked at every entry I can find but nothing looks out of place, but
then again I am not sure what in place is.....

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I have just performed MS Critical updates and W2K updates on my SBS 200
Server and one of my W2K workstations and now I can not log on using my
roaming profile!

I could before I performed these updates but I can not find what has
"stopped" working.

I have checked the services, had a look at the security side and all
"looks" okay, can any kind member point me in the right direction as I
have spent hours trying to sort this...

Thanks,

B. "always assuming my mail is working"
