LOL ... I make a very nervous passenger until I get to trust the person who is driving me which is why I rarely get people with "decent" cars to take me out for a run as almost invariably they aren't up to the job and try too hard.

 

There's only one person who's driving I trust completely ... and it isn't my own.

Most people tend to get scared shitless being driven at high speed by someone who is steering, braking and accelerating by someone who no longer has the use of his legs….

Shouldn't have a problem at all.

 

We use if in the office -more than that length, multiple floors. This is just a WAP11 and a set of PCMCIA cards.... no extra antennae.

 

Obviously, if you can site the base station centrally in the house, you'll find it easier.

I’ve only tried 802.11 in relatively open environments. I’m looking to install some form of network in my brother’s newly acquired house, and it is big – 55 metres >from someone to pull CAT5 before it is redecorated?
