Re: 433MHz Modules

Hi Stuart

At my old house I used my own modules on 433Mhz. They were some cheap and
nasty modules that I used the case and 433 rx out of and added a PIC with my
own software. I built a computer interface to allow the PC to TX and RX on
433Mhz. I also built a Hand held LCD device with a keypad to use as a remote
for the HA but since moving it's all in a box in the desk. Be warned 433 can
become blocked easily and sometime not deliberately which would disable all
your devices.

I must admit since moving and trying more of the X10 stuff I am not
impressed with it. I have a few idea's which I wanted to throw around the
group for there opinions but I have been leaving it a while as I am under
strict instructions from SWMBO not to start anymore of THOSE electronic
projects until the decking in the garden is finished. I leave it to your
imagination what I've been doing ALL weekend.
