again, turning to the group for lack of knowing where else to look...
I have a Garmin etrex, and it works fine with Autoroute, point perfect
navigation, however, I am trying to get it to tell me where I am right
now,
in landranger coordinates.
I have set the GPS for the Ordnance Survey GB datum (also tried the WGS
84
datum), and told it to use British Grid formatting.
when I add a waypoint however, the reference it gives me is (for
example)
NS65881 I also get a second number: BNG67824 I don't know what that
number
is?
NS is certainly on the right sheet, but there are only five digits, and
landranger refernces need six!
any ideas why this is happening?
Ian./
