Re: Tivo SWMBO setback

Dave,

You aren't alone with TiVo reporting signal loss, I bought one of the Powerhouse Tivo's last week and have had a number of occasions when it looses input and this is from an aerial! (sky man on his way). It does recover about 10-20 secs later and displays the correct channel

Anybody any ideas why this happens??

Regards

Paul

Subject: [ukha_d] Tivo SWMBO setback

Had a major problem last night with SWMBO.

She went to watch the Sky channels and Tivo reported no signal input. Was set to one of the kiddy channels during the day and when it went offline, Tivo put up a blue screen with the no signal information.

SWMBO didn't know how to rectify this and complained about my gadgets again as all she wanted to do was watch TV with a simple button press.

Oh boy, back to the drawing board with a way of bringing her around again.

Dave...
