Re: OT Software ??

Hi Mark

I can program to a degree. I have programed Z80, 6502, 8051 and PIC micros,
also a little VB and some Perl. I could probably get the RS232 side working
i.e. reading serial and sending to a socket over tcp/ip and vice versa.
However the audio over tcp/ip I Would not know were to start. I have looked
at some Voip stuff but I've not found anything that is straight forward line
in to line out.

If I can find the software then I have the facilities to do some good
wireless network tests. We own 4 Radio masts at various locations. The main
site is about a mile away from our head office. If I could get a wireless
link between the two it would save our systems dialling up to get the data
>from the main site to the second site. They are 17.5Km apart but one is 42m agl
and the other is 31m agl. There is line of site between them.

It all depends if I can locate the appropriate bits and the current workload
doesn't increase to much. If I do try the link then I'll let the group know
the results.
