Defeating local control on AM12U

I'm having trouble with my Fuji Pen PC connected on an
AM12U appliance module. I have set up the power
management to only go into suspend mode after a couple
of minutes running on battery so that when I run my
goodnight script the Fuji gets powered off and will
automatically suspend itself.

However, I think the local control is allowing enough
power through to the Fuji to make it think the power
is still on and it doesn't suspend.

Has any body done the disable local control mod to an
AM12U?

I have had a look at various web pages but none
describe the UK spec. appliance modules. I think it
looks like I cut a link on the pcb next to the middle
of the IC on the circuit board - it's the only link I
can see.

If someone could confirm that's the link before I cut
it I would be very grateful as it doesn't look easy to
reconnect once cut.

Cheers
Andy
