RE: TiVo - issues !

Gareth

I used TiVo with a Pace STB for more than six months and then with a Nokia STB for ON Dodgy for a year without that hassle at all, the only thing that every failed was the Sky box re-booting and screwing up TiVo rather than the other way around! But then I used the IR LED to control the box both times if that’s any help.

Well, I have 5 days left of the free planner - might as well try to get used to it.

1. Despite my attempt to redo the entire setup, the damn thing stays on channel 5 - cant go up/down channels. And channel 5 terrestrial - and I removed the RF cable to stop if finding them !
2. Twice yesterday it sent out a "Sky" button whilst watching something pre-recorded on the the Sky box. When you press SKy whilst watching a recorded item, it exits to normal TV.
3. Three times is has switched to channel 311 for no reason. It;s a movie channel, and I dont subscribe to them.

It's as flaky as a box of cornflakes !
