He can get a refurbished box. He can phone Sky who'll charge =A360 to come<= BR> round and 'sort it', which includes replacing the box if it is dead -
trouble is, it takes them ages to come out.

Alternatively, try the satellite installers in the Yellow pages. Mine
packed up a few weeks back and was replaced with a refurb by a local guy for =A370. The advantage was that he did it the next day.
