Are you sure it *isn't* downloading the images?
I have a similar problem where the images are downloaded and stored on
my hard disk but IE refuses to display them!

Right click on one of the image place holders and look at the
Properties.
This should list the location and name of the file.
If I go to that location in Explorer the image is indeed there and I can
view it with any other graphics application!
Same problem with application's HTML help files stored locally on the PC
- no images are displayed although they are where they are supposed to
be.
Just seems like IE will not display any images stored locally on my PC.

Sorry I can't offer any advice - I haven't managed to fix this yet!
I've repaired Win2K after a crash and re-installed IE6 over the top of
itself to no avail.
Asking on a IE news group and emailing MS support hasn't turned up
anything yet either... :o(

But hey!  You're not alone!

Anto.

For some reason since I upgraded to IE6 whenever I save offline pages
with 1,2 or 3 links deep it never downloads the images, and it is
slected to download images, i have tried unselecting, applying ok'ing
then reselecting etc, but it does not want to download images on html
pages for offline veiwing, I am annoyed about this becuase as you know
alot of ha pages have LOTS of images, and i like to be able to surf the
whole site, "with" images whilst offline since i don't have adsl, and I
have to pay for internet whilst onpeak times.

Anyone had this problem, or solution?
