The 3 to 8 decoders im
using is fine to IF you only want an output
to be at a certain state for a brief period eg transmitting an ir
signal or
recieving an ir signal or triggering the alarm contacts on a video
switcher,(these are all applications im currently using). But as Ian
said
not suitable for fixed output states on several outputs.
