Just in any results. I don't have the spare time to really get
involved, sadly. I've just hit a similar requirement myself I think.

My phone line is broken and doesn't ring anymore, so I *need* to
be running my Call announcing software as a fix. Today I
received a call from PowerHouse distribution about my mail order
TiVo but I had *just* taken the s/w down to do some development
on it. Luckily I noticed on the CID display box and rang them back.

I need to be able to run my s/w in two instances, both listening to
the serial port - one to run away and really let me know what's
going on and another to allow test/development.

I'm going to create something but nowhere near as sophisticated
as you're talking about. It does sound similar in some ways I think.
