Guy told me yesterday, that today is the last day of offer and that they have 200 on stock. I got approval from SWMBO and decided to go to Wembley shop during the lunch break (a bit extended) today. Just called to confirm that they still have them on stock and the same guy told me today that offer closed yesterday and yesterday was the last day.
Now I don't think that he even had those 200 on stock, since all the other shops run out of them.
Anyway, I was very close to obtain TiVo, but will have to wait for other opportunity, or even better - ReplayTV, but I don't think that it will be anywhere near £99, or £299 in fact, with subscription.

<LOL> Me too. The chap asked if I was aware it had a
subscription or lifetime charge. So I said I'd be upgrading it, then if
that all worked, plumping for the lifetime charge. He then asked
what if it broke down the line somewhere and that an extended
warranty would cover me.

I just grinned and declined the generous offer.

If it breaks, there'll be something else newer, better, faster,
stronger to replace it by then I'm sure.
