SWMBO 1 - TiVo 0

Well, I thought I had it cracked there.  Started TiVo recording the
party in
the palace whilst she watched Corry.

When Corry finished, started watching concert (missed first few minutes
of
it as she initially didn't want it recorded).
When duff bits came on, fast forwarded (whilst still recording). 
Even
explained that the more I forwarded the nearer to 'real time' we got.
Towards the end we must've been around a minute behind.

Queen starts walking up to light the beacon and BANG - TiVo
(un)helpfully
asks if I want to delete programme now or do nothing - arghhhhh - all
the
brownie points earned (and believe me it's hard) gone in an instant when
the
bit she wanted to see was not there.  Switched to live TV and the
fireworks
were already going....  How can you say "You've missed
it."?

Admittedly not TiVo's fault - we can thank the organisers for
over-running,
but what was getting promising (SWMBO acceptance) has taken a step
back....

So there we have it - SWMBO defeats the technical wizardry of TiVo in
an
instant.  Never mind it allowed her to fast forward whilst recording -
it
MISSED the end..... (and I was doing SO well).
