Stuart,

Try persevering with your local branch. Insist they ring the branch
manager
at Speke.

I had to make a couple of phone calls to Liverpool and seriously cajole
the
Cambridge branch. In the end they caved in as I said I would phone the
branch manager at Speke myself.

Interestingly though the Cambridge branch salesman mentioned they had
run
the same deal once before (??).

There is a quite funny post on that Tivo community thread regards ending
up
with two units. Check out davrouk's post. You could always sell the
other
unit if it does turn up.
