I think a number of us like to be contactable but also want our privacy
 
with a meteor or something similar it is possible to implement call screening to an extent...this is not really possible with a mobile so if my parents (for example) want to contact me at unsociable hours then they only have the option of my home phone as my mobile is switched off due to work related idiots who think I am available 24/7.
 
I think that caller id should be mandatory (for all but a few exceptions) and I would like a mobile that has an automated call screening facility.
 
Just my thoughts :)
