Hi Andy
            It was getting confusing and i think its better that only one or
two people give advise at this stage. You Have done really well i think so
keep at it. Yesterday i built my version of the tx circuit . Of course
tested it on the bench before connecting to hv . Fixed 1 wiring problem and
then tested the operation of the mux and checked current draw by the leds .
All appeared ok so decided to connect to hv. Well it didnt work ,it
transmitted ok but my tv would not respond . I also have an ir rx in the
room so i pointed at that and looked for the led on it to lite, no joy.
Anyway i think the problem might be that im using an opto coupler on the
incoming ir data (4n28) and its not fash enough . I will keep trying and if
i get it to work and if you are having no joy i can build you or send you
the drawing whichever .
        Can we upload pics to Marks Site if so how and when i(if i) get it
working i will sent some pics.
