Thinking about it, you could have 8 zones, any or all of which could
run at
the same time, using _4_ wires, not 8... however, it would add
latency.
The first three wires would specify a zone using the coding you
suggest
below. A pulse on the 4th wire would toggle that zone in or out of the
active
set...
