There is a warning on the front of IT week suggesting not rushing to
get 802.11a kit at the moment.

Apparenlty it currently requires a license (=A350 per site) and these
may not be available in some areas.

The suggestion is to wait for 802.11h which will be a european
ratified standard, and refers you to the gov site on radio, which
seems not to mention any of this.

Another article in the same mag says some vendors have clearence, but
it's limited.

So all seems to be unclear.

Think I'll stick with the relative low cost of WiFi for now.
