Re: IR - RS232

Hi Tim,

Check out Milford Instruments www.milinst.com as they have a IR to RS232 device that fits the bill perfectly and is cheap at the same time.

Subject: [ukha_d] IR - RS232

Depending on what lighting system I end up going for I may need a simple solution that can transmit an ASCII string over RS232 in response to various IR inputs. I know an Ocelot will do the job, but it is overkill given that I won’t be using ANY X10 (woo-hoo)

Any ideas?

Tim
