If the group go down a formalised structure with a legal entity incorporated
for bulk buys, I don't know how workable this would be.
I think a lot of umbrella IT contractor companies work on the basis of every
contractor being given an different type of share and when they want to take
a dividend, a dividend is declared only on that type of share - so I
wouldn't have to wait until everyone else was ready to do a divi in order to
get my money, and I would not share in the profits of the other contractors
as they wouldn't in mine.
You'd probably have to try to do a similar sort of thing here, but it would
be a nightmare to administer.
Also, you would be taxed on the dividend so the Revenue would really be
shafting you!
Taxed on your earnings
Taxed on your savings
Taxed when you use your savings to buy a HA toy and then recover the excess
in the form of a dividend :(

Oh yes, the IR would _love_ you :D
