X10 RF receiver for US product use in UK!!!

I've just had an email from Warren at www.wgldesigns.com and he says 
his V572 RF receiver will allow UK users to receive 310Mhz signals

remote controls.

The beauty of the V572 is that is communicates via the RS232 
interface of the CM11a (and I presume CM12 too). You will need a 
dedicated CM12 - you can't share the same one with your PC. Better 
still, unlike the X10 branded products, the V572 can receive commands

buy 8 receivers from X10 if you want to receive from 8 house codes.

It's powered by a 9v DC PSU which you can buy in the UK, so there are 
no 110v/60hz power problems to work around.

Here's the deal from Warren. If he doesn't send you a 110v PSU he'll 
credit you $3 so you'll pay $36.25 per unit (but you only need 1 
anyway!) Air mail is $15 which you can split if people put in a joint

Or the W800 plugs into your PCs serial port and receives all 256 
signals from 310Mhz X10 RF devices. Apparently this produces a very 
fast response from RF triggers - motion sensors, remotes etc.

should 
share my findings in case it helps someone else.
