Paul,

All things being equal, if you have equipment at Node 0, why not just drop
additional CDRW and DVD into it.  I have 2 x CD (IDE and SCSI) 1 x CDRW and 1 x
DVD in one box and works fine altho I uprated the PSU.

Am trying to locate all the PC's in node 0 and use a KVM switch and
CAT5 extender from Belkin to manage/use them from my office
(upstairs), but would like to have a very small box on the desk
containing a CDRW and DVD drive so I don't have to leg it down stairs
when I want to change games etc.
