RE: Network CD ROM
Good thinking,
Why have one appliance when you can have another motherboard, more memory,
and
some blinking big disks. If you priced this up it would probably be
much
cheaper than appliance and there satisfies SWMBO finance criteria.

Probably at a tangent, and maybe not what you want) but what about a
small
pc, and a huge hard drive or 3 and copying images of the discs onto
that.
Would be an easy way of putting it in a small box.

Does anybody know of a company doing CDROM or CDRW drives that can be
hooked up to the LAN directly i.e no host computer??
My other option is to try and get a motherboard and two drives into
an external drive case
Any thoughts on the feasability of this?
